running and meditation combined!

MeditationRunner are downloadable jogging tracks that harness the meditative qualities of the running experience to improve well being on all levels – Body, Mind and Spirit. These seemingly unrelated disciplines are being combines into a cohesive and engaging experience that train the body and free the mind with specialized music tracks, coaching tips and positive affirmations.

Meditation:

Through the repetitive nature of the running experience, the jogger enters what is refered to as the “Zone” – very similar to a meditative space where mental activity slows down and thoughts move in to the background of our consciousness. In this meditative running space – free of mental noise - the joggers is introduced to positive affirmations that take root in the conscious and subconscious mind. The effectiveness of these affirmations is highly increased due to the fact that the jogger is experiencing these affirmations while mentally quite and receptive – allowing these positive affirmations to take root

music:

Music is also a key component of the MeditationRunner tracks. Unlike pop songs, which are designed to demand the attention of the listener, these tracks are geared to support the running experience itself and to assist joggers in getting into a mental stillness while running. With a blend of gentle but energetic trance and electronica, the compositions are painstakingly created for appropriate tempo and vibe. Each session is carefully paced out to start slowly, lift runners to a comfortable and sustainable pace, and then calmly return them to a cool-out phase. Tracks feature specific sections that allow runners to keep running, or walk, according to their personal fitness level.

coaching:

The virtual coach guides and accompanies the joggers throughout the running journey with practical tips, enhanced breathing techniques and correct running postures. The virtual coaching also assists the jogger in overcoming motivational struggles.
